shopping list

February 5th, 2008 by lloyda

I love making lists. I like listing stuff that I need and want to buy. I have tons of stuff I need to find to add to my wardrobe and listing them makes me stayin focus or else I’ll go crazy with my impulse buying again.

Things I want:

  1. Brown granny ankle boots
  2. Brown chunky heeled lace-up oxfords
  3. Black PVC or lamé leggings
  4. Black jersey mini skirt
  5. Vintage big shoulder bag or hobo bag
  6. White round toe oxford flats
  7. Peep toe booties
  8. Floral dress
  9. Circle mini skirt
  10. Brocade skirt
  11. Patent pastel loafers

triple strap mary-janes

January 10th, 2008 by lloyda

Remember the expensive Chloé triple strap shoes? Singaporean brand Charles & Keith recently released their version in synthetic leather for only US$32! They have it in black & beige. I must head over to the nearest Charles & Keith store to check these out!

shopping gods

November 11th, 2007 by lloyda

I swear there are times that I think the shopping gods are not happy with me. I guess they are looking else where because I’ve been out of commission for quite a while. I know I haven’t been out shopping as I used to. It’s not because I haven’t found anything to buy mind you. It’s because I am, let me put it this way, low on funds! Hahaha. Anyways, I went to the mall to check out some stuff and got to pass by Topshop. Goodness! They finally got the metallic jazz shoes I’ve been lusting after. But like I told you, the shopping gods are against me as they haven’t got my size anymore. All sold out! Then so okay, I decided to look around a bit and saw a pair of leggings. But lo and behold! The last pair in my size got a hole in it. Grrrr… I swear! They really must be hating me right now!!!

what’s on your shopping list?

September 12th, 2007 by lloyda

I am forever on a search for the perfect jeans or a pair of shoes I have dreamed up to match with an outfit I had in mind. I always carry a little notebook with me to write down these outfit ideas and my forever long list of things to buy. Lately, I’ve been obsessing on looking for a pair of lace up high heeled oxfords in white and also a pair in brown. I already got 2 black pairs… 1 from Schu (I bought last year) and a new chunkier pair from H&M (I love that store!!!). Another thing on my list is a grey loose cardigan. I think it would look great with a tee & shorts or skinny jeans. I’m also on a look out for metallic jazz shoes! I’ve already got myself a pair of wide leg jeans so that’s already crossed out from my list. (Though I’m still waiting for them to arrive as I had them shipped to me.) And one thing I would also want to buy??? Coloured skinnies! A yellow pair would be sweet!

:)

ai ya ya!

Don’t you just hate it when you buy stuff at full price and see that item a few weeks later on sale? And the bad thing is you have not even worn that paticular item!!! This usually happens to me a lot! Just awhile ago I went to the mall with my officemates for lunch. I checked out Celine and saw this particular pair of shoes (a canvas mary janes with crown print) that I got for P799. And now to my dismay it’s on sale for P499!!! That’s P300 cheaper!!! Grrrr…

kate moss for topshop

June 1st, 2007 by lloyda

I went to topshop early this morning to check out the Kate Moss collection. I was hugely disappointed. I mean you can’t even call it a whole collection when they only got like 5 different styles on display! I did not get anything as I didn’t like anything save for the skinny jeans (love the details on it but unfortunately red is not my colour). Sheesh… I should have stayed home and slept a little bit longer. :/

shopping philosophy

April 30th, 2007 by lloyda

My boyfriend would alsways kid me that I am a quantity girl. This is true without a doubt. Some would invest on these so called investment pieces (timeless, superb quality and extremely expensive!!!), whilst little ol’ me would rather buy tons of cheap “new/ trendy/ now” items. I can’t help it. I simply love those cheap disposable fashion. My closet is literally exploding in too much clothes and it doesn’t help that I often would go shopping yet again for bags full of new clothes for my “item of the month” shopping phase. For some quality over quantity works for them. I on the other hand think it would be too boring. But hey, that’s just me. ;P
