Enter My Wardrobe

so after the looooong wait, h&m finally opened it’s doors to asia last 10 march in hongkong (68 queen’s road, central, hong kong). i’ve been counting the days until i’ll be able to go into an h&m store with out travelling a millions miles away. hahaha… i can’t believe that they are finally open in hongkong. i mean hongkong being so near and well i do consider hongkong as my 2nd home country. hahaha. from what i heard the lines were really crazy. there was a long queue to go in the store then queue up for the dressing rooms and there is still a long line at the cashier. well, i can’t blame the locals. from what i’ve been seeing in magazines and the net. h&m clothes are really adorable. they do come up with affordable trendy fashionable clothes. who wouldn’t able to resist that?!? well, h&m would be opening a few more shops in hongkong and new stores in shanghai, china around april 2007 & in tokyo, japan next year. hopefully they’ll add manila to their list.

it’s been a while since i’ve worn something funky. lately i’ve been wearing what you could call a “fashionista” outfit. i dunno. there are times that i feel like maybe i should start dressing like everyone else. but then again if i start doing that then i would lose something i am very proud of. my very own fashion sense. hahaha. i am not saying that i don’t get inspired by other people. in fact i easily get influenced by things around me. and there are times that i do go through these phases where in i just dress a certain way in days. it’s weird i know that i haven’t really got a certain style or maybe i do…

black patent skimmers

okay so here i am sporting neon. i heard that it is going to be the big for spring summer 2007. the pop, nu rave sort of thing. the 80’s fashion is still here i believe. well, it seems that this trend is more geared for the youth. i cannot imaginge my mum even sporting a shirt or skirt in neon colours! that would be really funny. but then if anybody is bold enough to wear neon, i’d say… GO FOR IT! it’s fun and it’s loud. i on the other hand think i could only go for wearing it moderately. a neon here and a neon there but not neon all over.

now i’m in search of a pair of neon tights. i think i do have a pair somewhere in my closet. i just need to find it.

i attended the wedding of my 2 friends last weekend. made me think of what i want for my wedding dress, if and when i’ll get married that is. anyways, i’m thinking of having my wedding gown in pale pink instead of the usual white? or maybe something like gwen stefani’s wedding gown (designed by the great john galliano) which was dipped in pink at the bottom. i also want something different; something funky. i’m thinking on the lines of those avante garde designers. it’s quite interesting thinking of your dream wedding dress and of your wedding.

hello! i think i should start this blog by introducing myself. this entry might end up in the about this blog page one of these days but i guess i’ll stick this one here in the main page for now. well, my name is lloyda and i like to dress up. i work in the retail industry. i studied fashion marketing. i love fashion and i’m a shopaholic. this blog would contain random stuff about fashion and i’m going to post a whole lot of pictures of my outfits. hahaha. i am quite obsessed with shopping. i like going to the mall to check out new stocks on display. don’t you feel happy when you get to find something adorable and have to have it right there and there? almost all the time i am like that. i can’t help it. shopping really is my biggest vice. well, aside from fashion i am also interested in photography. looking at pretty fashion photography inspires me. i like looking at celebrities and their style. i love how stylists interprets fashion. i adore the artsy and scene kids who dresses up out of the norm. i simply adore personal style.hopefully i would make this blog interesting enough for people to read it. hahaha.
